San Francisco is only good as a tourist, which I was going back to the states since my parents lived there.
The city sucks otherwise. Everyone there complains about government things, too high cost of living, PGE (number one complaint of many residents I met there), rising cost of living, etc… That was 2015. I do not know if it’s gotten worse. I don’t remember San Franciscans being particularly friendly either.
Taipei residents are really nice compared to SF dwellers.
