I just moved to Kaohsiung (1st time living in Taiwan).
I am currently looking for some home appliances, better second-hand (since I’m not sure will stay here for a long time). Is it popular to exchange/use second-hand products in Taiwan?

New microwaves are cheap to begin with. I think many go for under $1000
yah, but I won’t use that for long, just a year. I’ll leave that for the landlord after I move out next year

There’s a 5kg limit for 7-11 post, and microwaves weight more than that.
oh, I see. just wonder any scam. 
I used to sell items on facebook marketplace but got tired of it. Get a lot of people sending one liners then not responding, or people asking for COD or whatever (not sure why, seems prelude to a scam).
This area here. Many second hand appliance and furniture shops.

That street just has loads of second hand stores, quality varies depending on what people sold to them 
But everything usually has a 3 month warranty.
