Can one buy the self-tanning moisturising lotions in Taiwan? I’m wondering if Watsons, etc., sell the moisturisers that gradually build you a tan over 5 days? Brands like Dove, Garnier and Johnson & Johnson sell them in the West, but I’m wondering if Taiwan does, seeing as I recall Taiwanese girls usually prefer to be as white as possible.
Amazingly, I think I have seen the stuff available, once. No idea where. But I’m sure I saw it once. How it ended up on the shelf, I don’t know. I’d think its presence alone would have been enough to drive the local ladies to the exits.
I don’t think you’ll be able to find self-tanning cream here, since most Taiwanese girls are trying to make their skin look lighter. You could have a look at Sasa on Zhongxiao E. Rd, just a few doors down from SOGO. They have a pretty wide range of beauty products. If they don’t have it, you might have to have someone from home send some to you.
I looked so hard to try and find it in Taipei and couldn’t. I ended up getting mine in France. The brand I got is called ROC and the product is named MINESOL bronze colour. It’s really good.
The last time I looked,
they sell fake tan in most branches of the Body Shop (in Taipei) and in Jasons.
The Body Shop fake tan (its called “Fake It!” cute…) isn’t as good as the stuff you get at home but it still does the job!
I looked for so long to find it too
Hi, Aldi … welcome, but could you please cut back on the size of your avatar? It almost fills my entire screen … there are limitations on size you can use …

Do they still sell that in Body Shop? I was told by them about a year ago that they didn’t stock it any more.
Okay so I went to a tanning salon on zhongxiao and everything was so expensive. Are there any places that sell indoor tanning lotions near zhongxiao east rd? Also, is it better to tan indoors or outdoors lol? thanks agAIN
City Super at SOGO has this Coppertone creme that works slowly but gives you a very natural color. Check it out where they keep the sun screen lotions.
You can also check out Sasa or any of the other discount make up places for similar stuff - and cheaper.
ps.
there are some of us who turn bright red, not brown, if we try to tan outdoors.
