I think it about the last place you would come to , in Asia, if you were a “Sexpat”.
That attitude is just bigotry and a shame ( felt awkward sometimes) when I went on holidays with my long term Taiwanese girlfriend to other countries . Of course there are obnoxious people , like the big guy on the China Airlines flight recently, and certainly Thailand etc, will have it’s fair share.
Taiwan ? no , certainly not in the last decade or so .
Taipei nights could get a bit wild , but no different to most cities and certainly not a magnet for sex tourists.

There’s always a few. I meet them here and there when they mistake me for another naive local and/or general idiot and try to pick me up.
Eh…Japan and Korea are typically the last places sexpats are drawn to, since it’s much harder on average to get those women in bed.
I don’t necessarily think there’s an epidemic of sexpats in Taiwan, but there are certainly some here. It’s not like I look at you married fellas and assume you’re all sexpats, or that you’re retired from a long history of sexpatting. It’s just that the fact remains: there are sexpats here.
You guys should be more mad at them for potentially making you look bad than you are at me for pointing out their existence.

Not all whitr guys are sexpats but many who come here are spoiled by the attention: Charisma man syndrome. It is not only a white folk malaise, males of most etnicities succumb to it.
So it is a guy thing, like you guys like to accuse us womenfolk of being too much trouble, high maintenance feminists who remain bitterly alone in Taiwan? Sounds awful, doesnt it? I am being sarcastic BTW.
Some people, all genders and preferences, go wild without social pressure. In my experience, Taiwan does not attract sexpats or even players, but wannabe cheaters who will lie to get laid, keep svore to brag about it, and you havr to watch your wallet around them.

A beer buddy of mine was compulsive. Seriously, multiple women in a day and appearance was irrelevant. He must have got through a sizeable proportion of Taoyuan.
And then he hit 40 and moved to Saudi Arabia. A bit of a feast to famine move, although I’d guess those expat compounds are pretty lively.
Korea I’m not sure, but Japan kinda is. They have a sizeable prostitution industry, which should be banned.

There’s literally just a few thousand white males in Taiwan. TINY Percentage of the population…Absolutely fucking miniscule. Probably not even 1% of foreigners here. Of those 1% of the few % the population that are foreigners there’s probably only a few % at most that are horndogs.

As said, white and male and simply Westener “privilege” in Taiwan is quite disruptive, but you cannot blame it all on the foreigners, as the racism here allows too much lewd behavir on both locals and foreigners. In our office, it meant a guy enacting prima nacta on new comer gals, resulting in heavy personnel rotation. But since there is a local workplace culture of looking down on women, sexual harrasment and a few other retrograde things, well, it all makes sense and such behavior fits in.
Western privilege…There’s fuck all western privilege here. There’s white collar and blue collar and those with Chinese blood or not.

That is why we say “racism” quote andfd quote. The locals give these guys teh rope on which they hang themselves, as the one sthat abuse their privileges eventually get it back on their face when they are not useful to the locals anymore.
Those “privileges” are costly.
The locals aren’t stupid.
If they want to sleep with foreigners , OF ANY TYPE , they will and they do.
None of OUR business who they sleep with.
There was a famous Turkish model he went thru dozens of girls and got prosecuted but vast majority or all were willing participants . He got in the paper cos he looks different and jealousy so media can spin a story about ‘dangerous foreigners’.
It’s exciting for lots of locals , men and women, to sleep and have relationships with foreigners them and lots of locals can’t stand the (on the surface) very conservative culture here.

I responded to some questions about my comment about a sexpat I actually know in real life. I commented on their existence here. Then you went and got your panties in a twist like I’d somehow insulted you directly.

Taiwan has a tiny number of foreign guys who are here just for sex. Go to SEA where it is an actual industry.
Or go to LInsen Bei LU where it is an industry too.
Go to any town in Taiwan they all have brothels.
