Hi does anyone know where I can buy shipping containers and get them converted ?

A shipping container already has doors.
How do you think you get stuff in and out of it?

I’ll ask when I head to the countryside during CNY. I’ve actually considered this: Buy a good plot of farmland, use one of those shipping containers as a temporary way to stay on the land every once in a while, then build a nice house on the land in a few years.

Yes monkey I was aware, and as I said I need doors and windows put in. Maybe a hobby other than trolling would enrich your life

Does anyone know what kind of prices we’re looking at for these? Couldn’t see any prices on the website.
My wife has some land in the countryside now and we’re seriously considering this option.
This website explains how you can (supposedly) be all set in the countryside for 800,000 NTD (farmland plus one of these shipping containers). For a small shipping container with a bathroom, I guess you can get one for 100,000-130,000 NTD.

Very interesting. And if the heat is something you worry about, get one of those freezer containers to convert and take other measures related to an additional structure above the container. Okay, now this is getting interesting.

A basic 40 foot container with doors and windows is about 70k including delivery
The idea of having a cheap vacation home in the countryside appeals strongly to me.
I think I would prefer to have a level concrete area with a metal cover under which to place the shipping container. But still, if that’s another 20,000 NTD or so, we’re talking 150,000 NTD max (container with a bathroom and AC). This is something the wife and I seriously will consider when we head to the countryside this weekend.
