I have a kid who was prescribed an expensive medicine in the US that’s not available through NIH. We will check in with Ministry of Health and the kid’s hospital on the technical side of bringing it in (paperwork).
All of that said, the medicine is in theory very expensive and I don’t know whether there are higher tiered ways to send it. I’m guessing it will be FedEx or USPS but am grateful for any advice. I’ve considered splitting it into biweekly mailings in case a package goes missing. I’d even thought of trying to get family members to visit and carry it. It doesn’t have to be refrigerated but would be bad if lost.
