Shoe Musings by Buttercup and tash
I miss him. He was good to me. I wish we’d known eachother as adults. He was a great guy. Not sure exactly what he did in teh army - my gran is a bit hazy about it.

I think I will polish my shoes, on the back doorstep, when I go home!
Not Church’s, obviously. But even today, I still enjoy polishing shoes.

Nope. I have some nice Russell and Bromley’s though.

Heh! Me too. Still got 'em. Still wear 'em. First pair of shoes I ever bought that cost more than 150 quid. Certainly not the last, though.

Me too. I used to work there when I was a student. 50% discount! And Bally. I was also a qualified Start-Rite fitter.

I always wanted to get on the men’s floor. Men walk in, try on, drop £400 quid, there’s 1% commission with no yap. Women spend more, but they’ll buy more pairs per year, so commission less and you have to listen to their whole process.

My daughter just invented the world’s cheapest shoe. It’s made of paper and tape. NT$2/pair.
