My friend wants to go to Hong Kong with us, but there’s only one problem, she has a single entry visa on an indonesian passport and she still needs to stay in Taiwan for about 8 months after we return from Hong Kong. Does anyone have any ideas about what we can do about this? Or is there just no choice but for her not to go? Thanks.
Depends what her reasons for needing to stay in Taiwan are. She may be able to extend her visitor visa for up to six months under certain circumstances.
A single Indonesian girl wanting to remain in Taiwan is going to have a tough time with immigration unless she comes up with a good story. Is she permanently resident in the US ?
It’s ok, we just fixed the situation. We’re just not going to go to Hong Kong anymore… hahaha…
oh and no she’s not a US resident. She’s an Indonesian girl who is studying in Taiwan and wants to go to Hong Kong to visit.
