Skincare remedies?

Okay folks, my skin is breaking out big time. Any tips/remedies on how to prevent and treat breakouts? I did not have this problem back home. It’s annoying to have to deal with this here in Taiwan. If anyone has any advice shoot away.

In Taiwan, so many possibly causes. Any more info like where, what it look like, does it itch, where have you been, what have you been eating…

Careful with the biandangs. Better stick to proven American cuisine.

Also, make sure you drink enough beer.

Be sure to frequently change your mask and wash the bedsheets (at least the pillowcase). Maybe even use some bleach if you can’t wash at > 60°C.

No itching but bumpy skin and a couple whiteheads that are big and gross. I’m sure half of it is due to wearing a damn mask for so long but the other half no clue. My diet usually consist of a lot of vegetables,
fruits, meat, and rice. I keep myself pretty hydrated. Wash my face and exfoliate well do the minimum to keep my skin moisturized/hydrated still no promising results.

Wash your face with a very gentle cleanser , additive free. I use the " Himalaya" brand. The biggest mistake I ever made was too much washing and Benzyl Peroxide , I felt like I had been in an industrial chemical plant accident. Now I try to use as natural and gentle a cleanser as possible. I do not even use moisturiser , it seems to work. If you want to use moisturiser just put it on the non oily parts of the skin.

fascinating… Biandangs (well, the healthy ones with vegetables and that aren’t swimming in oil) and little to no alcohol has actually made my skin look way better here than it ever did back home in the US.

Are you being sarcastic? :face_with_raised_eyebrow:

daily vegetables+almost no alcohol+daily moisturizer = acne consistently non-existent now. I wish I could have started doing this so much earlier in my life.

To OP: Curel moisture face milk is the one I use now, after I got a recommendation from a friend. I don’t really give a damn if that sounds fruity, this shit works!

Gonna need a new thread for long term friendly repartee now that Brexit is passe. Skincare could work! Lol

On that note my missus wears an infra red skincare mask that makes her look like dart Vader.

She does the telekinetic chocking too so it’s no joke

I also was surprised to see skin care tips coming from a guy called @crusher

I personally recommend snails, the secret to molluscious looking skin. If you’re cheap, just go out and grab a few from the park next time it rains.

No idea what that means but it sounds kinky.

It’s not kinky

I like what you say about the snails though

And I have a native aquarium. No joke.

It’s great I just dumped it all in there and they did their thing and didn’t disrespect me.

Transferred some to the aquarium at home and the are fin nipping

Now you’ve just got to work them into your daily beauty routine :sparkles::snail::sparkles:

Hey don’t knock it. Liberal application of invasion and war crime kept Reagan looking OMG YUMMY well into his seventies. Don’t know if it’ll work for Putin though. He had an unfortunate ratty look to begin with… and then there’s the issue of his man boobs.

In your case I don’t think you’ll need such extreme treatments. A week of snail therapy and you’ll be ready to join a Korean boy band

I get whiteheads from mask-wearing. Luckily, nobody can see them because I’m wearing a mask.
Occasionally, when I’m alone in an elevator with a big mirror, I squeeze the muck out. It’s kinda fun. Look on the bright side.

Doesn’t take a genius to figure out that violence is not very nice.

My advice is to wash your face in the morning and before go to bed also avoid touching your face , also maybe you have stress or not getting enough sleep ?

You can also buy Oil-absorbing Sheets for Face , I have seen them at Watsons and Carrefour
