As far as my software is concerned, I did not get a refund. There were two conflicting statements regarding it. The shop said that I would be able to use it on another computer. The repair shop said I would be able to reinstall it on a new computer after 6 months.
If you bought the software. It is yours Make sure he gives you all the license keys. As far as I know Ill software is transferable. Except maybe the operating system. OEM version of Windows may not be transfereable But the guy will sell that with the computer so he better bloody hell give you back your money for all non transferable software.
You should be able to install your software on the new machine just as soon it is deleted from the old machine.

I have some left over fire and rage from the “good old days” If I lived in the city, I’d team up with a local tech friend. I’m a geek and have always been friends with a local computer or electronics nut while in Taiwan. Anway, I’d go down and have some fun. But I’m not near.
