Ah yes, that’s me, Dapper Dan, enjoying my KFC with a 2007 Austrian Blaufränkish from the Stift Klosterneuburg vineyard. What a vintage. It’s full-bodied, intensely fruity taste is characterized by ripe tannins and a harmonious interplay of sweetness and acidity. Notes of dried fruits, leather, a slight hint of tobacco. And with a character that makes me feel like I’m in a Bauernhof in Upper Austria. Delectable. Pairs perfectly with my KFC Green Pepper Zinger Super XL Combo®. The way the wine complements the cream of the egg tart? Oh my. It is so choice. If you have the means, I highly recommend trying it out.
