Hi,

Does anyone have any tips to find someone that can reterminate a cat 5e cable running through my wall? I’m in Taipei.

I have 4 jacks in my house, 3 work great but one of them is stuck on 100 mbps. I think it’s because there’s a small kink on one of the wires where the sleeve was removed.

Does anyone have any tips on who is best suited to re-strip the wires and install a new keystone (currently it’s in one of these).

I think a lot of 水電 can probably do this, but I’d like someone who ideally understand why the cable dropping to 100mbps is an issue and ideally has something more than just a basic cable tester (since that currently shows all 8 wires are fine).

If anyone has any Chinese tips for what to search for or a recommendation it’s much appreciated.
