To be honest, I think TF is not such a bad guy. He has come here, only to find himself a newbie, and jobs aren’t falling from the trees anymore. He’s also cottoned on that South Africans find themselves at the bottom of the teaching pool. He has now started to lay waste to them to assuage his own lumbering (did he not come here on his own steam and then proceed to look for an agent?) attempts at finding a job in Taiwan.
Oh and TF, I stand in front of my oven wonderring if you’ll be brave enough some day to come and enjoy that free pizza I’ve offered you. I’ll even go one better and offer you your money back.
I came from a country where people were treated like 2nd class citizens or even non-citizens. I hate seeing people being treated like that ANYWHERE. Least of all South Africans in Taiwan. Why? Because I’m one.
whew…thanks for that tigerman…actually the only reason i wrote saffers was because i couldn’t be bothered typing “south africans”…in NZ we call South Africans “jarpies” but nobody (including saffers) seem to get it here…

I have just discovered someone has been using my account at Forumosa. Among other things, they have posted scurrilous and accusatory remarks in this discussion thread about two people – Maggie and Albert.
THESE THINGS WERE NOT POSTED BY ME, and I wish to declare publically that Maggie and Albert, to the best of my knowledge, are honest, scrupulous people who are guilty of none of the things that have been said about them in this thread.
I hereby offer a public apology for anything that has been said in my name that has been damaging to them or their reputations. None of it is true.
