i woudnt mind a tiny sip meself.
I’m sure I speak for us all when I declare that I’d hope you’d grace yer sip of 1964-vintage Bowmore with Mexican Coca-Cola (with real CANE sugar), not the corn syrup stuff. Cuz I swear otherwise I’m gonna start doubtin’ yer taste, tommy.
I’ve seen more expensive in the whiskey shop in the breeze center supermarket. they have quite a few bottles of that kind of stuff, some are macallan for sure

oH YESSIREE BOB! Trader Joes sells their own cola formula with 100pct cane sugar and it is GOOOD . It actually costs a buck a bottle which is actually MORE expensive then their mexican beer !!
But its real good with bourbon. IM drinking it with wild turkey 101proof.
Horses for courses. I feel exactly the same way about anyone who is willing to pay NT$20k for a mobile phone. What’s a fellow to do if he has a hankering for some super-expensive Scotch? Steal it?

OH WAit. I think that one flew high overhead over me. I think ya aint supposed to mix this here expensive islay with nothing but maybe a drop of water right ?? Certainly NOT COKE FOR CHRISSAKES??
ah, the gold and the black bowmore. Special.
How far would you get just grabbing one of those bottles off the shelves and doing a runner?
edit: it seems they’re encased in glass. They saw me coming.
edit2: it says ying-guo on the description. That’s Islay, England then is it?
Taiwanese compartmentalize to make things easier to understand silly. Everything English/Scotish , well everyone thing/persons on the British isles are “ying guo” and all whiteys in tAiwan are Meiguo. Now isnt that simple? It is.
I will likely never find myself in a possition to own this bottle, but if if I were to spend 700,000NT on a bottle of scotch I’d imagine I might like to be in an atmosphere a little more becoming to fine liquors, not across the isle from the Cool Ranch Doritos and next to the Budweiser display! i.e. Not at the
Breeze Center supermarket!
I don’t believe any of these bottles are meant for drinking. Most of this price is in the Lalique crystal, not necessarily the Scotch.
and, of course, Crown Royal is not Scotch.
looking at whiskey.com, Scotch isn’t a bad investment. It appreciates well, but unlike other tangible commodities like gold or silver, is can easily lose it’s value through liquidity, as in it’s easy to turn it from a valuable dark brown liquid to a worthless light yellow one!
