I know a while back they advertised on Star World that people in Hong Kong need to subscribe to Star World from the end of Jan.
Now there are new ads, saying we need to subscribe…but nothing about Hong Kong…
soooo…are our days of watchin Oprah numbered?
My take on this is that the subscription is just for HK viewers.
I hope I’m right - the young CowBoy & I are hooked on The Simpsons & Malcom in the Middle.

Many areas of Taiiwan don’t have it anyway. I think what you’re seeing is for hong kong viewers only.
Come cable companies in Taiwan might lose it too. But satellite TV viewers are safe.
