I’m not a Starbucks fan but both of these look quite cool.
A book about Starbucks locations in Taiwan, especially since they occupy some of the most beautiful historic creative spaces in Taiwan.
And the coffee cups are really unique.
The parent company in the US turfed its CEO and brought in the Chipotle guy as a replacement. Will it be enough to turn this company around?

Same as here but a little more extreme. The version here is taking multiple flasks of tea and soup. Besides that most peoples activity’s are kind of the same, playing on the phone.

I’m usually a big fan of American F&B establishments, as they provide a consistent offering globally, balanced meals, and decent calorie per $ value.
But Starbucks has been off for years. You need to get 3 Ventis to get a proper caffeine boost. 2 regular size cama coffees do the same trick, but for less cash.
Pushing the massive sugar drinks and taking away the workspace / comfy seating in the shops . . .
How about they actually serve coffee and stop looking like a McDonald’s?

People get what they’re able to negotiate. He has previous with such demands.
However, he only has to be in the office three days a week. I guess he’s a big family man
I’ll admit that, despite getting used to it, there are two things that I find difficult to accept in Taiwanese coffee shops (like Starbucks, Louisa Coffee, etc.): either there are people who sleep at the tables because they feel secure knowing that no one will steal their belongings, or there are typical parents who bring their kids to do their homework. In other words, there are times when it is impossible to find a place to sit during certain hours.
If he has them start serving decent coffee, and edible food, and remove the craptastic shelf products - in other words change out their entire product line - sure! 
Its a Taiwan problem. You gotta pick out certain stores. Certain ones are spacious and less crowded than others.
Unfortunately My neighborhood only has the types of louisa that are shoulder to shoulder so i have basically just stopped going to cafes since i moved here.

Looking for something strong and satisfying on a rainy Sunday? I was. Happily, I found my local Starbucks has continued to bring in interesting coffees roasted in Kanagawa, Japan. These are the one-off single origins and seasonal blends with distinctive packagings unlike their usual charred and unimpressive beans packaged in bland brown bags.
At least in the capital, stores are now serving this year’s version of Autumn Blend. It’s a typical three continent blend (in this case with beans from Guatemala, Ethiopia, and Sumatra for depth)—and it delivers a full bodied, balanced, and sweet cup. If you’re into blended coffees with this flavour profile, I can recommend this one without hesitation. I may go get another cup later . . .

I should have added here that I am referring to the products sold in Taiwan—and the bland brown bagged part refers, in this context, to beans roasted (not especially well) in Malaysia.
