I am from Austria (Europe) and have a Visitor Visa which lasts 180 days (for studying), this Visa expires in August, but I want to stay longer. As I dont study anymore in August I wont get an Alien Resident Card. Can I stay longer by just travelling to another country and coming back again? Or does this only work after a total amount of 180 days per year?

philippines tends to be the cheapest. hk is usually next cheapest. depends on the time though.
