Hello! I volunteered for animal shelters back in my home country during my youth and it’s something I would be interested in doing again in Taipei if possible? Just for making friends and having a chance to help cleaning/feeding stray animals etc. I have spent 4 years studying chinese but it’s fair to say my traditional writing and reading isn’t exactly native level, but still would be open to working with translation in some form.

If anyone has any information of knowledge it would be appreciated, facebook isn’t showing up much. And the links to shelters on google and taipei times seem to be mostly dead

Mary’s doggies always welcomes an extra hand, especially one with experience.

Ask ACT for animals too

Moreover, depending where you live, there are local shelters that also would be glad for the help, like the one in Zhonghe.
