Study in NTNU without scholarship. Possible?

As others have said if you want to save on living costs come south. In Hualien I eat out every day along with paying for the gf, travel, and spend under 10,000 TWD / month. (Dormitory is just 7000 TWD for 3 months.) My more frugal Indonesian friend spends under 4000 TWD / month and sends the rest of the scholarship money home to family.

Also, wanted to say I’m impressed you have this goal. At your age I couldn’t see beyond university and took me another 7 years to try something like this.

Yes, and there is less competition for the scholarships or assistantships. Staff are more welcoming, they want you there as the Government gives them incentives -meaning $$$- for internationalization efforts, graded as how many foreign students they have. Hence, you are an asset.

I would also look into Tainan’s Sun Yat-sen’s bilingual programs, have heard good feedback so far.

Just avoid Asia University or other fly by night schools.
