Way over priced, but starting to look like a cereal aisle in the U.S.

People who weigh 400lb?

The sad thing about obesity is that it’s self-sustaining. As your metabolic machinery shuts down, it starts demanding more and more sugar to keep up. And before you know it, you’re huge and diabetic.

If anyone wants to re-live excruciating stabbing mouth pain from their childhood…here you go. Found at MegaCity City Super today.

Found these others too. Some are back from last year. Some never seen in Taiwan before.

Pity. I’d like to see regular Chex here, but have no interest in the Honey Nut version.

If somebody finds some original Cap’N Crunch, let me know!

That would be such a welcome surprise from the old country!

You may want to look at that picture a little more closely.

Of course if you want to pay 350 a box for them, knock yourself out.

The Chex is 298, not 350.
Still expensive though.

The ticket above them is plain chex, what lia was after. Well, in Chinese, gluten free chex, but I think that label is there to extract even more margin.

Thanks - missed that. Yeah, that gluten-free label gets weird: “Gluten-Free Masa Harina!”, “Gluten-Free Polenta!”. I’ve avoided those instinctively in the past, thinking “Pshaw, I don’t want to pay a dumb premium for gluten-free nonsense”, then thought … hold on … isn’t that sort of like advertising “Gluten-Free Water”?

(Caveat that I suppose “Gluten-Free Polenta” is somewhat more careful about avoiding impurities, which some people do indeed need to worry about.)

I have no particular interest in eating Chex cereal, but do sometimes want it as an ingredient for snack mix / nuts & bolts.

300 NT$ for a box of … damn!

Yeah, way overpriced.

When is Asia going to get on the Capn Crunch train already?!

Have you bought from that site before?

Yes.
A bit overpriced, but if you are really craving something and you don’t mind splurging…then go for it.

It blows my mind that City Super always has fruity Lucky Charms in stock, but the other flavors are so rare. I’ve never seen the chocolate variant, which I’m sure is the most popular. I have to import my own :frowning:
I’m very happy to see the blue ones. I’ll be making a visit!

NT$359 (~US$13.00) for 1 box/300g/10oz of Fruit Loops?! At Jason’s, now owned by Carrefour.

~NT$.80 (~US$3.00) in US.

I bought them couldn’t resist.
