I have recently obtained Taiwanese car and scooter driving licenses. I don’t plan to own a vehicle, however I’d like to rent it from time to time (iRent, Wemo, GoShare or some random scooter rental shop).
As far as I know in many cases the insurance cover is very limited, e.g. there is a limit to third-party injuries or vehicle damage. Is it possible to buy an additional insurance policy covering the driver (me) to extend the basic policy?
