Any recommendations for travel plans over Chinese New Year?
Thinking about Cebu and Boracay /The Philippines / but if you know any cool destination in Asia let me know !

Cheers!

I would definitely chose Boracay over Cebu. Nearly impossible to do both of them during CNY

Why impossible ? Do you think it will be crowded with Chinese ?

Before Covid I made annual mini-trips (4 days) to Phu Quoc, Vietnam. I couldn’t go 2020-2022, so that’s exactly where I’m going this CNY. Already booked!

Well, not impossible, but not much fun. You’d waste a whole day traveling, and when you got to Cebu, you’d wonder why you ever left Boracay. Just my opinion

From what I see now prices are higher to Japan, but maybe go down once more flights are added, but seems Japan also has airport labor shortage

Yes I’ve seen reports about Sapporo’s New Chitose Airport (CTS) that they cannot keep up, can only handle one arriving flight at a time, hence sudden cancellations of flights, as discussed here:

Guy

Yeah, hard to hire it seems in Japan At KHH airport when went out and in, seemed over staffed but as flights increase we will see how it is here.
