Rob is… an easygoing guy who doesn’t take himself as seriously as some Yoga Masters (Yogii?).
I know the Rob and he’s a top bloke
The Rob? Sounds like he’s a serious “worship me and I’ll set you free” sort of guy. “I am The Rob and you will obey me. Now assume the position.”
I bet he’s a ninja. Pirates don’t do any of that girly bendy stuff, although we like bendygirls. Maybe I should visit his school and slap him about with the Medicine Stick? Ha! Take that, evil nazi sausage worshipping yogi bear! Lobsan Loretta will tame your salami and feed it to her shaman dog-familiar.
Yes I know the swastika next to their advertisment (on this site) for the “SS school of Yoga” is a buddist or Hindu one. But with a name like “SS” putting a buddist swastika next to it, may confuse or turn off some foreigners. Perhaps someone should mention it to them.
It is like the “Fanny” school of English. After it was mentioned they have now discretely changed their name to the “Fenny” school of English.
The clockwise-pointing swastika, or ura manji in Japanese, used to be part of the Shorinji Kempo symbol (they have since changed it), and is still part of the symbol of the India-based yoga and meditation organisation Ananda Marga. I have participated in both organisations and had no problem with their use of this traditional Indian symbol.
