Swedish Day in Taipei

Not sure if this is the right place to post, but I try to post it in the section that I think most related…
I want to have a Swedish Day in Taipei (doing everything related to Swedish culture on that day), but so far I only have the ideas of spending time in IKEA, dining in a Swedish restaurant and watching a Swedish film in a MTV. Anyone can give me more suggestions? BTW, other than FLAVORS and IKEA, is there other Swedish restaurant or food in Taipei? Thanks!

I suggest schnapps and Swedish erotica! Then maybe some axe throwing.

Some might think you are a few weeks late but if you can pull it off, I think it would be great!

Sorry, but only Flavors has something close to Scand-i-land. Once in a while Ikea Taiwan will bring in something good in the food area. Very simplistic basics but the Lingonberry jam is not bad.

I’m still waiting for the lefse and geitost/brunost/mesost but if they don’t start carrying it I’m going to have Dragonbones make it for me. :stuck_out_tongue:

Talk to Ola at Flavors and he will guide you to the right group/people. Mr. He on this site could also provide good input. Unfortunately, Scandinavia is not widely represented here.

It wouldn’t be a proper Swedish day without listening to some hours of Abba. Which could be combined with some rounds of Absolut vodka and downloading Swedish entertainment (porn) from Pirate Bay.
