Hello, everyone! I am a 27-year-old female looking for a swimming instructor in the Taichung Area. I would appreciate suggestions of facilities that offer English instruction. Thank you!
I’d go to the pool at National Taiwan University of Sport in Taichung.
The students there (swimmers on team) should teach/offer classes, just like PE students at NTNU in Taipei or at other Normal univerities throughout Taiwan.
Just ask person at swimming pool counter or call up if your Chinese is good.
I encourage you to find an instructor. But in the meantime, there are so many instructional videos on YouTube.
Swimming comes down to decreasing drag and increasing propulsion. That’s it. Two things. Everything you do should be to do one of these two things.
You could even get someone to take a video of you, and share that in a Facebook group. Most swimmers are happy to give advice.
