My son has dual nationality (Sweden/Taiwan). His Taiwanese passport was issued in Sweden so he is “Overseas Taiwanese”. We’ll visit friends in China later this year. I thought he should get a Taibaozheng but now I just saw some reference at the Air China website that he should get something called Luxingzheng since he’s Overseas Taiwanese. I cannot find any more information about it. Is it true that he should get a Luxingzheng and where do I get one in Taiwan? What is the cost? Could it be easier and/or cheaper to get a visa for his Swedish passport?
