Taipei all-day American brunch place

Taking my Taiwanese friend to experience an “all American brunch” tomorrow. Where’s good? I’ve been to one place half a year ago but can’t remember the name? Nana’s Kitchen or something?? Ring a bell?

Anywhere good and around or under 300 NT?

Thanks!!!

“The Diner” has some breakfast/brunch items on their menu. Might want to check out their website

Maybe Grandma Nitti’s? By Taipower MRT? I think they do all-day brunch, but I haven’t been there in a while, so I can’t recall. What about NY Bagel? There are a few of them around. I know there’s one at Renai circle, one near Taipei 101, and one in the Q-square mall behind Taipei Main Station. I’m not sure if it’s exactly the huge brunch stuff you’re looking for, but I know they have breakfast items all day. Evan’s burger (also at Taipower) has a few breakfast meals they serve all day too. I remember having eggs, bacon, and then my choice of pancakes or french toast, I think for right around 200NT.

Whalen’s, at the corner LeLi and AnHe. Specializing in Skillets, this is the best brunch I’ve found in Taipei. Hands down, the best bennies in Taiwan. Open’s at 10AM I think. Facebook Page

There is a huge hotel Fuulong hotel / resort in Danshui that had one of the best brunches I have ever seen. The price was fair for the amount, quality… ofcourse there is local foods, but you get japanese, sashimi, hagandaz ice cream… and omfg… BEER on DRAFT. Forgot the name of this huge hotel… fuumong not sureits fairly new… and my friends forgot too. But go and then ask around… if this helps its close to that huge sky ride place… or short taxi. I was in private car when I went.

last choice: Sheraton hotel across from Taipei main.

Could you be a bit more specific about the location, downtownandrew? Is it the funny-looking resort (like a ziggurat)? What is the “sky ride”? I’ve got some family coming over and I’m a bit short of ideas for feeding them.

the diner is pretty awesome with multiple locations, i recommend you check them out

I assume it’s the place out at Fisherman’s Wharf - there’s a big resort out there now, along with a tower, and I guess that’s the sky ride. But I haven’t been to Fisherman’s Wharf in a few years so I’m not sure: news of this brunch has piqued my interest. Like, western brunch? Pancakes and eggs and omelettes and stuff?
