I’m starting a chess and games club that meets on Sundays at 1 P.M.
The goal of the club is to have a diverse crowd in order to play different variations of chess such as Western Chess, Xiangqi (Chinese Chess), Go (Weiqi), Janggi (Korean Chess), Shogi (Japanese Chess), and any other board or card games.
I started a Facebook group called Taipei Chess Club - 臺北下棋俱樂部 that anyone may join.
I am tentatively choosing the Witch House as the meeting place, but this could change in the future. This coffee shop (which has food) has several foreign and local games in English and Chinese available for customers to play.
