Who the hell wants to live under Bukele?

It seems people who left due to the violence have been coming back. It’s hard for me to imagine living in a place where the murder rate is 100+ for every 100k.

I wouldn’t want to live under some proud dictator who might be sticking the secret police on me in the middle of the night even if it’s safe outside.

El Salvador is so safe now because all the bad gang members were let into the US during the open borders period.

MS13 being deported back to Guatemala and El Salvador goes back much further than that. El Salvador is safe because of mass imprisonment like you said.

I was reading that El Salvador has a ridiculous 5 murders recorded this year or something like that. It seems it’s becoming very safe these days.

Well then, if El Salvador is so safe now, then TPS should not be renewed. Temporary, means “temporary”.

TPS expired on September 9, 2026 after the last extension by Biden.
