I realize this may be a niche question, but curious if anyone has any experience with a Taiwan VPS / Dedicated Server provider?

I’d like to spin up a Taiwan-based Gitpod instance to see if I can live with remote development

If US/EU options are out just due to latency then you might consider there’s plenty of perfectly good hosting options in Japan and S. Korea as well, if nothing local suits your needs.

Or take advantage of the generally rather decent high speed Internet here and just roll your own. :sunglasses:

AWS is supposed to open the Taiwan region pretty soon. Otherwise Japan has many options and good latency.

Google Cloud has a location in Taiwan. I am using a location in Singapore (different provider). Ping is around 70ms.
