My Taiwan mobile phone plan is expiring soon and I dont want to continue the plan.
Has anyone tried to change the phone plan to prepaid but keeping the same number?
And what to do use to avoid sim expiration.
It can be done but need to talk with them, my wife always sorted mine out for me, as she was doing hers at the same time.
I have had the same number since i moved here, i have taken it to different companies and changed contracts. I’m currently on a 1month rolling contract that suits me.
As I remember they charge a fee for switching to prepaid like $200 or something but you can keep the number. Conveniently, there is no fee to go from prepaid to contract. Customer service can do it over the phone

For the E-Sim number, is there an expiration when I completed the plan and stop paying? Basically, will be used only for receiving call and text.
