Taiwan’s Chatime opens bubble tea store (NOT) in The Louvre, Paris

Not true. It’s in the Le Carrousel mall beside the Louvre.

That picture is another one near the Louvre.

Have you ever been to a Chatime location?
I’ve never heard of this brand.
Had to look it up and do a branch store search. There are hardly any of them in Taiwan.

Now, if you had said 50嵐 was in Paris, then I’d be fuqqing all-out impressed!

Yes chatime is big in South East Asia already.

Big in Canada it seems, they just opened a location in Price Edward Island

PEI?
Dang. Is there Internet access there? :sunglasses:

Yes but it costs 10x as much as Taiwan.

F**king hell, US$20 for one milk tea???

There’s one I know of in London. Brunswick Square shopping centre by Russell Square Tube Station.

Bubble tea—Taiwan’s contribution to world culture! : P

Guy

I still prefer coconut jelly.

I wrote that wrong, the Internet on PEI is (at least) 10x more expensive than Taiwan. The Mango Ice I bought during their soft launch was about $5CAN.

Not sure I would try it (I tired PAUL which is like French Starbucks near the exit to the Louvre) there in the Louvre. Also there is PAUL in Taipei but seems different (and much more expensive) than ones I went to in France.
