I moved this page from Geocities, since Geocities is no longer offering free webpages.
This site:

contains information about my latest book, Provoking Thought, as well as some of my articles about teaching English.
A good site for looking for teaching jobs in Taiwan is taiwandeal.com
It’s specific to people living and working in Taiwan. You can also buy and sell items, find an apartment, post personals, and chat in the chat room. All free to post.
Does Tealit.com still have a forum to read and post questions on?
I went to the Tealit website today and couldn’t find a forum.
As far as I know Tealit doesn’t have a forum. I don’t remember seeing one there before.
Thanks. I last visited the forum maybe back in 2001.
So maybe now it’s no longer there.
Just stumbled on this, looks like it has some potential

Hi there!
My name is Helen and I work for i-to-i TEFL (Teaching English as a Foreign Language). Great idea thinking about teaching English abroad!
If you do have a degree, Taiwan is a great place to teach abroad! We have our very own TEFL Community called Chalkboard where you can talk to other people who have been to Taiwan and might have some great advice for you! onlinetefl.com/tefl-chalkboard/?source=forum
Why not check out our Jobs Board to see what kind of jobs are out there at the moment and see how much you could be earning! It all starts with a TEFL course…

If you don’t have a degree, and are still interested in Asia, then the best country to head for is China!
Best of luck,
Helen
