Taiwanese vs. Vietnamese food

Oyster omelets have a weird aftertaste. Other than that, I don’t like Taiwanese food.

They are all over Slovakia, doing nails for the supermodel factory.

Yeah, I already know. Repeating it isn’t going to make me start caring.

Just in case you forgot. :kissing_heart:

Typical 高級外省人…

To his credit though, Chang didn’t have to come back to Taiwan, and he has done a hell of a lot for the country. Maybe he’d even qualify for one of those Plum Blossom visas…

I hate Chinese congee but that looks edible.
I tried some Thai restaurants in Taipei few years ago, Chinese food served by Taiwanese I thought. Made my own since then. Last nights stir fry

Never tried a Italian restaurant in Taiwan, not difficult to knock up yourself and more authentic.

Definitely. He has done an enormous amount and he is barely Taiwanese on paper.

Stir-fry?

I’d definitely eat that…except for the rice.

Even the chopsticks?

Low cal, high fiber…what’s not to love?

Is there some festival going on? Lots of people drunk-posting today.

What’s with the chopsticks, anyway? Getting down with the locals?

As a bonus, they’re the really pointy ones that are hard to scoop rice with.

Not to sway anyone’s opinion but I don’t mind an occasional PHO but for some reason I absolutely hate Bahn Mi and wouldn’t eat one even if hungry

Only for the photo.

I had a spoon for rice, shiny steel spoon would ruin the photo.
