It’s interesting. At first I thought endemism was a pituitary problem, but now I see that it refers to a lot of native wildlife in Taiwan.
Windswept, bland Table Mountain has more flora species than the UK. Table Mountain is overrated.
Cold data can certainly warm up a subject with interesting statistics.
There are more flowering plants in the UK than in all of Borneo. In this light, I doubt that Table Mountain is overrated 
More gratuitous trivia: Taiwan has the highest density of bat species of all countries.

It is interesting, but don’t just post links to your blog - why not post your original content here? Of course many bloggers want to get a lot of hits, but it’s not good forum etiquette.
Sorry, wasn’t aware of the etiquette breach. I don’t care about hits to my blog - I’m too old for that, and I don’t run ads there - the blog is just a reference vehicle.
I didn’t post the stuff here because I was too lazy (I’d have to PhotoBucket the pics and relink them again).
