Notice that Taiwan’s roadmap available on some pdf powerpoint presentations have disclosed that the Phase 3 might include lunar landing, lunar rock sample-return to Earth, or alternatively a Mars orbiter mission.
Of course at this stage, this is too early to be announced publicly.
Yea is Taiwan going to launch their own rockets or pay Space X to do it for them?
You know Taiwan is actually not a bad place for space programs… fairly close to the equator and basically nothing for thousands of mile to the east/southeast which is really useful if you want to launch rockets and not worry about dropping stuff on someone’s heads (China is in a pretty bad position for this being hemmed in by various countries and having no direct access to the sea, they actually have to pay people when they launch due to the risk of dropping stuff on them). This means Taiwan can easily launch stuff into orbits with lower inclination.
