I really hope Taiwan is holding on for the investments planned in US as part of the trade deal, not that those investments are bad as they would anyway happen, but just for show that we can not stand all these tantrums and dementia tariffs on/off clowning ongoing
Those investments would have been forward dated years. Suits everybody. Japan or was it Korea had to hand over billions in cash into a fund which the white house controlled

Those were only dreams by Trump, where he said that they will pay, he decides and all profit goes to him. The real deals are far from that, as investments are not made by the governments, they are made by companies who anyway had planned to build new factories in the US since long before
