Tax help regarding "foreign sourced income" in Taiwan

Tax help regarding “foreign sourced income”: I went to the tax office today to declare income from foreign sources put into a foreign bank account. They wanted notarized certificates of earnings, but because I live in Taiwan, it would be impossible to get those from the foreign tax authorities, notary public or CPA. According to Taiwan law: “If the taxpayer fails to submit a certificate of earnings issued by the tax authority or certified by a notary public or CPA, the tax office will assess the amount payable according to the standard amounts.” - Has anyone ever encountered this problem, AND does anyone know what “Standard Amounts” means?

Some CPAs can issue a certificate abroad and mail it to you.

Hello
Did you discover what are these ‘standard amounts’?
I’m searching also for an answer to that question.
Thanks
Mike
