Can someone help me regarding may tax refund cheque.
Last friday i got may cheque then i go to hua nan bank to encash, i give my passbook to transfer to my account.
I finished my transaction with the teller around 3pm. I check my account but nothing has transfered, i think maybe there’s cut off. Now monday i check again but still nothing. How long does it takes to transfer the amount to my account.? please help me.

The bank clerk should have told you how long to expect before it clears. Usually no more than a week for domestic checks.

I just got my 2019 tax refund cheque (because I filed for 2019 in 2022)…

Can I cash this baby in at any bank or must it be a government one? I’d like to do at Fubon

So I guess Fubon is okay? But maybe only Taipei branches? Hmm hmmm hmmm

This other post I found also seems to say Taipei branches only, but maybe that means Taipei cheques can only be cashed in Taipei branches, since this is a Taipei City announcement? Mine is New Taipei City, so maybe I can cash it in New Taipei City branches of Fubon.

So if anyone else cares, Fubon bank in New Taipei were happy to cash the cheque into my account. They say it will take 3 days. I guess the advertisement above about instant cash payout applies only to Taipei branches.
