When I filed my tax returns I chose cheque instead of bank transfer. I have read that those who chose to be refunded by bank transfer will get their deposit 31 July or 1 August. My question is when can I expect my cheque? Do you think it will be available by the 10th as I am planning to leave Taiwan on the 15th of August. Are they going to call me to come collect it or they will mail the cheque to me? Thank you.
Probably best to visit the tax office and talk to them. They might be able to tell you the timeline and potentially make adjustments.
