Tea Bar in Taipei

I really love this place for one reason only, the maitre d the master of all beautiful and great things is Gary

Gary’s gone.

If he’s not there, then I’m not there.

Side note: I found some new places to go.

What do you mean he’s gone…?

I heard something recently about the rent there being excessive and the landlord keeping increasing it. I’m not quite sure how it’s managed to stay open actually, given the small size and how quiet it sometimes is, but I’ve had some fun (and far too late) nights there.

He’s probably in Boracay.

It’s normally even daily the busiest place in the area.

James Joyce Irish bar nearby is empty and bobwundaye is empty and Adlon of course is always empty and the other pubs around the area are empty but Tea Bar will be full of people.

Afternoon 3pm before Gary left, evenings, after hours, still full.

Sometimes Tea Bar is so full that they talk to the other bars and ask to send people over the other bars in area.

That was all Gary.

He is not dead, he’s just not part of that situation anymore or at the current time.
