This is beginning to spook me out. I have known poor sites where you don’t get much response, but this is on a whole different level. Every job has a half page description–but often has no contact details. When there are contact details I NEVER hear back. Did anyone have the same experience? Responses saying ‘try again later’, ‘Sorry, not interested’ I am used to but this complete silence is spooking me out.
Does anyone know what’s happening?

I looked at Tealit a few times but there wasn’t much and it seemed out of date. Dave’s used to be a good spot to look, not sure about Taiwan…
Tealit is dead as disco. You’d have better luck on Facebook or even Dave’s ESL Cafe (although that’s primarily for Korean jobs).
I just visited Dave’s out of curiosity and it’s definitely less active than a decade ago when I used to see a hundred jobs or gigs posted there a day (right now I saw maybe 2-3 a day 
), but I did see a few jobs for Taiwan. The most recent job posted there is for a HESS gig in Taiwan fwiw.

That’s useful, thanks. Tealit still confuses me because the dates are accurate with many hobs beginning in July or August of 2021. But you never get a reply.
I doubt anyone has gotten a real job through Tealit since 2013 or so. Just forget about it.

I used to go there a lot, 17 or so years ago. Not for the jobs, but for the forum and chatroom. I met a lot of nice dates in the chatroom. As soon as they killed it and the forums, I had no more interest.
Found some good teachers, and teachers that were open to friends with benefits, on TEALIT, a few years ago.
Looks very amateurish now.
Tealit rentals have really tanked in a year, with china sickness i would think there are more places open…
When i was looking last year numbers were 15 on average now its 4 or 5 and most are company multi post
