Recently I’ve been going through the 當代5 and 6 articles, mining them for vocab I don’t know. I think they are really useful, because each book has 20 articles with highly varied topics that I would normally never read, and not having that kind of topic specific vocab has been holding me back. Below is one of the articles from 當代6:
Problem is, I will soon have finished 當代6 and still want to read articles like these about various unfamiliar topics. I am looking for a magazine aimed at teenagers that has articles like these, like one article per page. I prefer physical media for this, so I don’t want to just read random articles in the news or on DuChinese (and content there is rarely very varied anyway). Yes I could read random newspaper articles, but for some reason the format just doesn’t appeal to me. So, does anyone know of any magazines for teenagers that have articles like this? I know they exist for Taiwanese kids learning English, so maybe there is something similar in Chinese.
