You’re welcome!

Wow…I always thought it rhymed with “Renault.”

This one. But it’s used figuratively as an idiom sometimes… if you turn off the spigot, it means you stop the flow of something (cash, people, etc)

Here’s a recent usage I just found online:

Over the past few weeks, the coronavirus has turned the country’s cultural spigot off, with sports suspended, museums closed and movies postponed.”

I misread it as “Spittoon” the first time.

How do you pronounce Renault?

It rhymes with Peugeot.

啤酒?

Interestingly, they used to call Peugeot 標緻 in Taiwan. Now it’s just Peugeot.

I feel like we should have a thread-split just to discuss the word “spigot.”

That would be a spigoted thing to do. :face_with_raised_eyebrow:

If only there were some way to stop the stream of posts on this topic.

Lower the sluice gate?

Can someone add #spigot to the title? I would but I’ve been deregularized again.

Almost rhymes with gigot

You’re able to change titles?

Unpaid Drunk Spigot Fines?

I meant to the tags, not the title. Just do it cow.

As a regular (which you are) yes. Click the pen icon up the top. But don’t go crazy with title changing. A friend of mine went crazy and they sent the cops round to beat him up.
