I don’t have a crystal ball but until something replaces semiconductors or it becomes impossible to make something more advanced, Taiwan will be the leader.

Honestly nothing stops the us government from investing heavy into chip development. Or Samsung. Or China poaches enough tsmc talent pool
Obviously I hope Taiwan remains the leader as it’s good for the economy but who really knows long term
The US government is giving TSMC subsidies too.
Anyway, TSMC will eventually lose its lead. But not for another 20 years.
