Temperature down to 5 degrees? How often and what to wear

It is going down to a low of 5 degrees.

I’ve been in Taiwan for 2 years and I don’t think it has gotten this cold before.

Hmmm…
Will my fleeced hoodie be enough or should I buy a winter jacket?

Is 5 fairly rare?

It’s pretty rare.

Honestly, go to uniqlo and get a heat tech undershirt. They have 1.5x and 2x thicknesses as well now. 1.5 works for the British winter for me with a light sweater and light jacket. I hate heavy jackets.
