Watch out LPGA

I remember Martina Hingis and Justine Henin also retired at the Top

She’ll be back.

As ’ Clijsters initially retired from tennis in 2007 at the age of 23
‘She returned to the sport two years later and won her second US Open title as an unranked player’
‘She defended her title the following year and then won the Australian Open in 2011 en route to becoming the first mother to be ranked No. 1 by the WTA. Along with Margaret Court, she also holds the record for most Grand Slam singles titles won as a mother, with three such titles, and was the first to win one since Evonne Goolagong Cawley in 1980. Clijsters retired again following the 2012 US Open. After seven years, she began a second comeback in early 2020.’

A good way to exit - leave when you choose rather that someone tapping you on the shoulder.

She has mentioned other goals, you have to wonder - maybe.

She’s shit hot at cricket too

Yes, she started with Tennis, then took a couple of years out and played Cricket, then came back to Tennis.

Said to have made about $30M from Tennis - no need for another Job.

They had a lot of injuries. Hingis was a grand slam winner at 15/16, right?

Maybe it is golf, though this one is just a one-off it seems.
She plays locally, apparently off a 4 Handicap, so pretty good.
