Tesla Ubers in Taiwan

Around 5-6 times in the last two months, I’ve been lucky enough to get a Tesla when I’ve called a Uber Comfort. This makes me wonder, why are these Tesla owners working part time as Uber drivers? Last time I checked, Teslas are much more expensive here than in the US, so some additional income cannot be the motivation.

The discussion there might apply here, although I don’t know why any sane owner would do a taxi paint job on a Tesla.
