Thai disco in taiwan?

hi , me and some friends are currently in taiwan for a holiday.
we will be here for six days…

taiwan is a nice and friendly country…
we would like to explore taiwan…
we have been to a few discos… and like to explore a few more
then we came across this forum…

are there any good thai discos in taiwanor taipei?

thanks in advance.

There are some great clubs in Taipei city, but I think most clubs that cater to people from Thailand or for someone interested in meeting people from Thailand are located in Taoyuan. However, I could be wrong and hopefully someone will provide some useful info.

If you are in Taipei just go to Warner Village/VieShow in the ShinYi district for ease of access. Half a dozen clubs in one building. Happening Taiwan style.

Hope you have a great time here. :sunglasses:

i see…warner village /vieshow? i supposed its like an he road? we went there last night. the receptionist at the hotel told us its like the “lan gui fong of hong kong” …

we are staying near zhongshan mrt station, is warner vilage near us? and onemorething… is it easy to travelup to taoyuan to and fro?

.

EDIT: Thanks cranky for the correct directions!

Unfortunately, Taoyuan would require a car or take the High Speed Rail (HSR) from Taipei Train Station to Taoyuan (10 minutes by HSR) but then about a 20-30 minute taxi ride to get anywhere.

AnHe road is more for lounge bars than clubs. If you are looking for dancing type clubs Warner would be better for you. Also, try in the 101 or Luxy.

You can visit Filipino bars on Sunday. They are near Minquan West Road MRT station. Just go there on Sunday and ask a Filipino how to get there.

No shit. Those places ROCK! Spent many a Sunday there!

The Zhongshan MRT station is on the red line. (The Zhongshan Junior High School MRT station is on the brown line.) If axl22 is really at Zhongshan, then he/she should take the red line south (toward Xindian/Nanshijiao) one station to Taipei Main Station and then transfer to the blue line toward the [stupidly named] Taipei Nangang Exhibition Center station. Get off at Taipei City Hall. Walk south for about 10 minutes.

hi guys, we tried to find warner village yesterday only to discover that it was a shopping mall with a cinema! wah , thought that we could have went to the wrong place…we walked around and asked ppl if they knew where was it! Luckily a kind soul directed us there… only to discover that… they only open from wednesday onwards! wah , shack.haha

in the end we ended up at baby18 , another “ye dian” in the vieshow building itself. not much ppl, we learnt that its the norm for a tuesday.

hmm… we will be hitting the same area tonight!

Then you have likely seen my ass before!

Well if you are still in Taipei on Sunday you can go to B52. Or other Filipino bars.

I am actually a little confused. Why would you visit Taiwan and go to Thai or Filipino bars? Why not go to Taiwanese bars? haha :ponder:

^The Thai discos are more fun!

The OP asked about going to Thai bars. I just told the OP about Filipino bars since they are closer to Zhongshan.

Taoyuan has a normal train station. There’s a Thai Disco just across the street from it. No need to take a car or the HSR, especially since the HSR station is nowhere near downtown.

Just had a great time in ‘the zone’ , pinyo sunday, unprententious fun, genunine people having a good time.

Exactly why one would go to a Filipino bar and not one of the clubs near 101.
