That is no easy task!
Gotta say though. The logistics in taiwan is absolutely first class. All the manufacturing industries on this rock would not sell one unit without such infrastructure. Overal a very good system when looking at numbers.

Why were we shipping our whale sharks there ?
Cause Home Depot founder gave money to the aquarium and they decided they wanted whale sharks.

Feck them they shouldn’t be stealing our whales sharks from the ocean . Whale sharks have been protected for a few years already, must have been before that ?

They were bought from Taiwan’s annual fishing kill quota in 2007.
Although, you area correct in one point: Capture of whale sharks was banned in 2008.

I watched part of it not all of it…It claimed the sharks were going to be killed as part of a quota I’m wondering is that part really true thats all.
I guess they managed to grab them just ahead of the deadline.
It is one of those embarassing parts of a countrys’ culture. Japan does whales and taiwan does whale sharks (well they do everything, but anyway). I am curious if in fact the consumption of whale sharks still goes on, especially in Taidong?
